San Francisco

San Francisco is an awesome place. There's this energy/excitment that comes over me everytime I drive into the city over the Bay Bridge. This weekend MC and I stayed at a posh hotel near Union Square, Parc 55 and had a lovely time.  Although, the hotel did not think we were posh enought to share a bed and got a room with 2 full sizes...humm. Thursday night we hit up the 49er game which happened to be a yawn-fest, but MC didn't mind, he was so excited to get to see his team live for the first time!  Who's your team baby?!

We had amazing seats!

Candlestick is an old stadium, it's simple compared to the new billion dollar stadiums around the country (ahem...Cowboy's), but I like that it's simple.  I also like that I didn't have to wait in line for the bathroom once.  You should have seen the line for the men's restroom, fantastic, as was the line to get back on the bus.  Luckily MC doesn't believe in waiting in line.  As soon as the bus doors opened he pushed us right into the stampede of about 300 people all attempting to fit into a 2 foot wide doorway at best.  I was not amused, but happy to be on the first bus back to Union Square.  Our friends who actually waited in line, didn't get on the bus and back into the city for another 2 hours!

Later that night MC and I enjoyed some delish sushi and a stroll around the city.  I had one meltown upon meeting a hobo who's sleeping bag and shoe's had been stolen.  I couldn't handle it and was heartbroken for him.  Bless his heart because it was such a chilly night and he had nothing.  I felt like I had a connection with him, MC told me I was being crazy, but seriously, I was so sad that I had already given most of my change to the guy with spit on his lips and the guy with the cat.  I was able to spare a dollar for him and i'm certain the next day I saw him (still shoeless) eating a bag of cinnamon raisin english muffins.  I felt happy again.

Love you a baby, thank you for an awesome start to the weekend.
